Medial Ankle Reinforcement with Artelon's FLEXBAND TWIST
In contrast to alternative methods, this newly launched FLEXBAND TWIST.30 medial ankle technique (described by Patrick Bull, DO) focuses on the dynamic nature of ankle movement. This approach to a previously difficult to address pathology, offers a targeted solution to address medial instability of the deltoid, spring and/or tibiospring ligaments and Progressive Collapsing Foot Deformity (PCFD).
Utilizing this technique with FLEXBAND TWIST.30 offers reproducible points of fixation at the medial malleolus, navicular and sustentaculum, and gives the surgeon a unique ability to precisely control the tension, strength and support of the soft tissue repair.
